The Challenge:
Using a point cloud, we accurately modeled openings and floor heights. Despite variations of up to 3/8 inch, we needed a standardized approach to get the same piece marks for all landings and most of the stringers.

Our Expertise:
We collaborated with the client to model landings and stringers with concealed shims, ensuring identical piece marks. We paid close attention to keeping these landings identical, as even a small change in one would result in different piece marks.

The Result:
This approach streamlined the fabrication process, reducing lead time and costs—key aspects of effective ornamental steel detailing.
