The Challenge
The most distinctive feature was the round opening for the tank, which needed to be aligned precisely to avoid any gaps.
Fortunately, this project had what most do not: a design well coordinated from the beginning. The location of the tank was planned and fixed early in the process, which saved us from the typical headache of last-minute changes.
On many non-industrial projects, equipment placement can be quite an issue, which in most cases leads to delays or rework. But here, that care in planning saved a lot of potential trouble.
Our Expertise
Even with a clear design, it was up to us to make sure everything worked perfectly. We gave special attention to the opening in the tank, where the cutout matched the placement and dimensions exactly.
Simultaneously, we focused on the overall functionality of the platform, designing safe stair access and strong structural supports. Communication was constant: confirming details, cross-checking plans, and making sure every piece was ready for fabrication.
The Result
It came together exactly as planned; the tank fit perfectly in its place, and there wasn’t anything out of order during the fabrication and installation of this whole structure. Very smooth from start to finish, something quite rare when it comes to detailing in steel!
Looking back, it is a great reminder of how some early coordination and detailed planning can keep projects on course and fairly stress-free.
